The rail transit signal system is usually composed of two major parts: automatic train operation control system (ATC) and depot signal control system, which are used for train interlocking, route control, train interval control, dispatching command, information management, equipment condition monitoring and maintenance management, etc., thus forming an efficient integrated automation system.

The station interlocking control is the key to ensure the safety of train operation, realize the traffic command and modernization of train operation, and improve the transportation efficiency.
