道岔

A kind of line connection equipment that enables rolling stock to transfer from one track to another, usually laid in a large number of stations and marshalling stations.

The Railroad Switch can give full play to the passing capacity of the rail line. Even if it is a single track railway, the train can be drived in opposite direction by laying turnouts and building a section of fork line greater than the length of the train.
